Is There a Real Apollo?

Yes! Apollo is a real, one-year-old, extremely active border collie.

Apollo sat dutifully at Matt's feet when Matt and Zack were writing the first Apollo Token Smart Contract. He became part of the team and now the namesake of the token. For those who have owned border collies you already know how they always put their "family first" which is what Apollo is trying to do by putting the community before the interests of any one group or person.

Apollo is also the name of the Greek god of music, dance, poetry and many other creative expressions.

And, finally, because Matt and Zack wanted to name the token after Apollo the border collie because they felt Apollo represented their vision in more ways than one.
